My book »Pictures from the Other Side« will become unavailable at the end of October 2026. The publisher is changing its printing set-up, and the high-quality 200 g/m² photo paper currently used for this book will no longer be available after that date. A new edition is not planned.

If you would like to order a copy, you can do so online at BoD (https://buchshop.bod.de/pictures-from-the-other-side-kaspar-eduard-schech-9783756213757) or through your local bookshop. Just quote the ISBN-13: 978-3-7562-1375-7. The 200-page hardcover edition costs €42, plus a few euros for shipping within Germany and more for international delivery.

So, if you would like to own a book of contemporary black-and-white photography, if you are interested in a visual record of recent history in Jakarta and elsewhere in Indonesia, or if you simply want a classy, striking addition to your coffee table or waiting room, this is your last chance to get a copy in this edition.

Last order. Last chance.

A warning: There are still a few copies of an old, unauthorized and apparently stolen paperback edition being offered on Amazon. Just don’t. The quality is poor, and buying it supports neither the author nor the legitimate edition.
